So the new update removes person detection. Why would I upgrade my camera to remove a feature that I use? Doesn’t make sense.

I’m pretty sure the person detection will stop even if you keep the old firmware

@timstik [image] 2.8 Beta release If you do not update your app and firmware, you will keep person detection. We are working on our solution and look forward to having it ready for folks to test later.

If you value person detection don’t update. Moving forward Wyze will continue to address and fix bugs but cannot include person detection in the firmware since xnor.ai ended the agreement. Some users didn’t use person detection so will not miss it.
