Need your feedback before we start work on RTSP!

Interesting, I just assumed a battery camera would initialize RTSP for a few seconds when the sensors detect an event, similar to how battery cameras initialize a cloud event as soon as motion is detected on the sensors. You are saying that rtsp only works if a camera is streaming continuously?

Does that mean none of the battery cameras integrate into home assistant either? Or are they able to do that through one of the other protocols like HTTP(S) integration for “Works with Home Assistant” certification, which I heard requires an http API, so not all cameras, including our tsp cameras get full functionality and home assistant. But anything with rtsp can at least get a live stream. I’m just wondering if battery cameras can get into home assistant somehow else if battery cameras aren’t able to do rtsp like you mentioned. Or is that just a brand limitation Because I would take too long for for the rtsp to authenticate after a battery camera turns on post detection?
