To be fair, you do describe your 
as a “gang”. Who wants to confront that solo? Seems like the manager might be exercising good judgement.

I detected a slight limp on the cat.
I don’t know what he has been up to. He took a long vacation and wasn’t around for a long time but then he showed up again in March. Maybe just getting old.
I grew up around cats. They would disappear for a while if someone else was feeding them. They have no loyalty.
That is a complete misrepresentation of the events!
MFP is rebranding Weeds & Water to be privacy friendly to draw in more politicians, executives, gangsters, and criminal enterprises. No discrimination. When he saw the gang of bandits, he was informed they needed guaranteed privacy today so nobody else can be subpoenaed to testify against them. This was all about respect and business growth, not fear.

I grew up with a lawyer as a father, and I also worked in his law office for a while. I’ve also consumed several college courses on the legal system, though I never completed law school and IANAL. But I often think like one.
