MFP is still a camel cat

Thérèsia. See, I remembered it (after looking it up.)

Thérèsia didn’t show up yet this year. I think the young female turkey I’m feeding is one of her children from maybe last year. She came running right up the first time she saw me. Maybe Thérèsia is done having chicks, she was around for at least 5 years every spring.?

That’s kind of touching, right?

It does make me

Still at it. 6:45 PM to 6:56 PM then 11:53 PM to 11:59 PM.
Up to 9 different cats now in an assortment of colors. MFP has been out stirring up business.

Still a Goofy Camel :cat_with_wry_smile:. Xfinity has been replacing a lot of network cables in the neighborhood for a few days and wreaking havoc on my cams. No internet service for 6 hours today. At least they let me know when they started and finished.

Good thing you are retired and don’t work from home

Thanks for the link on Mutant Orange Cats

Our Lucy was quite a unique member of the family. Not just because she was a female ginger kitty, but she outlived the other 5 cats we had. She lived to be 17 years old, the last year she was blind, and got along amazingly well in a house she’d never ‘seen’ when we moved into it.

You’re welcome. My Mazda has been with me for over 10 years. Since he showed up and adopted me, I’ve been pretty partial to the orange cats, and his younger step-brother, Guinness, has also been a good guy to have around.

Just yesterday my sister adopted a kitten who’s at least part ginger, but I don’t think she has a name yet. She previously had a Lucy, who was a German Shepherd mix rescue.

Your Lucy looks sweet. Incidentally, I like the change in the status message. :+1:

Since you also like cats here is a nice Black & White one for you and it isn’t MFP.

Orange cat for you.

I didn’t realize Weeds & Water saw such unruly patrons. At least they decided to take their disagreement outside.

The manager came by 45 min later to refuel.

If I recall correctly, your in SoCal? Do you not have coyote’s in your area?

I very rarely see an outdoor or stray cat where I live in San Diego County.

If I set a water source out like that, I’m sure cats would be the last thing I saw using it.

With my camera’s sitting around at ground level like yours, I get all sorts of critter activity. I’ll be putting a water ‘tub’ out in the near future to see what critters utilize it.

Perhaps my frequent visitors will enjoy some fresh water after an apple.

Captured on Wyze Battery Cam at ground level on small tripod:

Not So Cal, I live 30 miles NE of San Francisco. I see coyotes around the area all the time but only once in my front yard. I have a bigger container for water that I have used for the :raccoon: children to play in but it didn’t get any use this year yet.
