It would be wonderful to be able to buy a pack of lenses to adjust the focus distance to varying distances - 6 inches, 1 foot, 2 feet, etc.
It’s no secret that lots of us use wyze cams for all sorts of non-home-security type projects/purposes. It would be great to be able to purchase a pack of lenses that allowed us to easily adjust the focus distance in the way the bird feeder lens adapter does so that we can keep using our wyze cams for all our unique purposes.
I wonder if you’re asking for something that’s been requested in an existing Wishlist topic:
If so, then that topic could certainly use your vote (above the initial post) and comments! When the Bird Feeder was launched, other community members were requesting that the macro lens adapter should be sold separately, and I can imagine use cases for other lens types, as well.
There’s also a topic collecting ideas for a potential future “Cam v5” if what you’re suggesting is more of a modular redesign that might allow for easily-user-swappable lenses to achieve different effects:
