I believe that’s been the case for a while now, and I actually prefer that, because I frequently use my phone to listen to podcasts via Bluetooth to a speaker or headphones, and when the Wyze app takes over audio (when I don’t want it to), it doesn’t like to give it up, so I can’t go right back to the podcast and usually have to reboot the phone to fix it. That’s much more of an inconvenience than a single tap to a speaker icon to turn audio on, I think.
Someone else recently commented about that in another topic. I don’t know if they changed the sensitivity or mucked with something else, because I don’t really use the swipe-to-pan/tilt feature (I prefer using the directional pad control for that) and don’t often zoom in but suggested this:

I agree that they sometimes seem to make changes without a lot of apparent consideration for potential consequences.
