It works like garbage on Linux through the browser does not display live only still frames.

I have not found this to be the case when using Web View in a supported browser on Ubuntu and other distros. My understanding is that even without a subscription (Cam Plus, etc.) it’s possible to pick a single camera to stream in a browser through Web View. Event stills are standard in the app as well as Web View without a subscription.
