Is Wyze Sense really useable or just a toy?

I pretty much ignored my sensors until they became Alexa compatible. Since then I’ve used them with real success in several locations. The only offline issues I’ve had was with a mailbox sensor that was out of range. I fixed that by drilling a hole in the case and pulling the stretched antenna through it. Its now rock solid with 3 bars. I do believe that sensors attached to metal weakens the signal. My only complaint was that the only sure method oh getting back online was to delete and reinstall. Pulling the bridge or camera power never did anything for me except waste time.
