Is the IR harmful to artwork?

I have a concern that over time, the IR night vision technology may damage the artwork I have hanging in my house. Does anyone have any information?

From my understanding, Art work is damaged by UV, more than IR. But the output of IR by the camera spotlights is pretty low, and not operated all the time. The PIR sensor is passive, meaning it is looking to IR, not transmitting it.

You probably don’t need the LED lights inside unless you really keep your home pitch black at night. Try disabling them and see if your night vision still picks up motion and images.
