This is the shared experience I’d draw your attention to.
I have purchased many dozens of Hue products, most before my last move in 2015… and none of them (not one) has ever burned out or quit being supported.
2019 released bulbs being not supported and expected to be dead (along with Wyze sense v1) make me concerned to rely on anything that isn’t Wyze’s main bread and butter
I can understand completely. Luckily my Wyze cam purchases have been flawless. I don’t buy pan and only buy fixed cams. Kasa bulbs and switches work good.
Btw, I just recently started to use my Wyze sense v1 for door openings and motion sensing. I thought they were dead but found some parts through a friend (still need a V2 cam.)
This is not the verb I would’ve chosen, but you do you. 
At first it wouldn’t turn on. I had to stick it in deeper. Easy peasy after that. Need to learn about the Firefly effect.
That decal isn’t stopping anything. I’ve put those plastic switch covers on and a kid reached around cover and turned off a switch.
Solved that problem with birth control. 
Found one minor issue with Wyze app for the Wyze Bulb Cam. I am thrilled the new Timelapse interface is used, but someone misunderstood that 12 midnight should be selected at 12:00 AM, instead of PM.
Otherwise the night vision works great, as does the rest of the bulb cam, even with the bulb off. 
. Light is bright at 100%
I decided to set the light for motion at 100% and leave ambient light off. I can easily use light with app or walk outside.
I did not care for the firefly effect. I should submit a ticket about TL tomorrow.

I also tried Jun 6th 12am but got 12noon.
It is also funny that it didn’t error out on Jun 5th 12am (since it had passed) and set to be finished at 6pm on the 6th instead of fifth.

You’re welcome! Incidentally, the Help Center has a section for this product, too, and one article includes a table comparing Accessory Bulb with other Wyze lighting products, but I believe that table has some errors. It indicates that Accessory Bulb has a “tunable white” color but also indicates a fixed temperature (which another article confirms), so I don’t interpret that as being “tunable”. I believe that both Bulb Cam and Accessory Bulb have the same single color temperature for their white light and that they’re dimmable but not tunable.
Why am I unable to get the accessory bulb shipped to my US address? I can get the Bulb Cam alone shipped to me through Prime, but the accessory bulb and the combos will not ship to my address? What is going on with that?
This seems to be fixed now. I was able to place an order for the combo.
I don’t know if the bit about the starlight sensor is accurate. The introductory video, product page, Help Center all mention “Color Night Vision”, which I think at least implies that it has this same sensor. Having said that, it definitely benefits from more ambient light, as do other Wyze Cams with that same capability. Here’s some comparison:
In both images, the top left camera is Bulb Cam, the top right is Cam v4 through a window, and the bottom left is Cam OG Telephoto through the same window. Bulb Cam and Accessory Bulbs are off in the top image and have Ambient Light set to 40% in the bottom image. All the cameras are showing color images, but the colors are clearly improved with more available light.
I really like the Bulb Cam’s field of view! 
I had one Wyze Bulb Color flake on me over a year after I bought it, and I thought about swapping something else into that fixture, but then @ssummerlin clued me into the 3-year warranty on lighting products, so I opened a ticket and Wyze replaced it. I thought I was going to have to do the same thing this week with another Bulb Color, but power cycling that bulb has it working as expected again. I’m using smart bulbs from three other brands, as well, and the two that I bought to try specifically because of their Matter compatibility seem to be the most problematic. 
I’d actually like to see more lighting products from Wyze. I installed Light Strips in a kitchen a few years ago and still really like those, too.
I just got a Bulb Cam. I had not read all the material about it before ordering so just based on the design I thought it would be a pan. Slightly disappointed that it isn’t but it serves my purpose well.
One larger disappointment is the control for the bulb. Maybe I’m missing something, but I didn’t see an easy/obvious way to turn the bulb on or off as a porch light – perhaps the “Ambient light” switch is supposed to do that?? (If so, it is neither obvious nor easy).
When the design gets revised for a later production run, I would suggest making the extension at least another ½" or 1cm longer. It just barely clears the bottom of my porch light which is not particularly large.
And a better explanation of what the settings do (and where they are!) would be nice for all the cameras.
When I first saw the design, I had similar thoughts. I thought it resembled Cam Pan v3 and so figured it was going to have motorized pan and tilt until I read and learned more about it. Even though it’s a fixed-position camera (after manual adjustment, anyway), I think the field of view allows it to cover a lot of area, and that’s one of the things I really like about it.
As far as lighting goes, you can control that in at least a couple of different places:
Even when you’re using Ambient Light settings, you can still override that with the manual control on the Live Stream screen. The app should prompt you with a pop-up the first time you try to do that.
I get what you mean about the length of the telescopic rod, too. In my case with that fully extended, it’s just the right length to clear the sconce. I’d really like to see it in black, though, because I think that would blend in even better than it currently does.
I’m with you on better settings explanations, too. I do think they’re getting better at doing this in the app, dropping informational notes in some places instead of leaving so much unused space on certain settings pages, but there’s always room for improvement.
I agree. I see as good as my v4, without IR or external lighting. I am happy with it. Definitely turning on the bulb helps, but that makes the distant background dark.

With Ambient, you can set at 40% to come on at sundown and off at sunrise, but you can also set motion activation for 100%. It’s a nice option if you want both.
Don’t care for the firefly effect.
Another great idea! I’m waiting on the Wyze Toilet Seat, Wyze Ant Farm, and the Wyze Taco Warmer in 8K.
Wyze continues to lead the way in superfluous gizmos that add nothing except empty wallets.
