Yes, like define a group of cameras and enable/disable the group.
Now I have two locations and have to do this manually.

My wants/rants:
The camera can only record 12s videos when it detects motion or sound (even with a microSD card installed). This is way too short.
There is no web server running on the camera or any other way to access media except by using the phone app or taking out the microSD card.
It needs geofencing (using cell phone) so videos aren’t recorded when someone is home.
A built-in siren would also be nice.
Greetings, It would be good to know how it is decided what improvements/enhancements will be implemented apart from operational fixes etc. It can’t be easy to decide given the large number of requests that have been made. Maybe the team is already taking into account the most popular and easiest to implement requests or use some other cunning way. Thanks for a great product.
There is apparently a Wyze internal tracker for requested features that I assume has some kind of priority/ranking system. There’s also a Reddit thread for customers to make new feature requests. I have no idea how the Wyze team determines priority but I assume it’s based on popularity of the request and how easy it is to implement.
Would be nice to be able to connect not only with 2.4 but also 5 GHZ because many time 2.4 gets slow so you switch to 5 G and to see the camera you need to get back to 2.4
2.4GHz WiFi is pretty popular on IoT (Internet of Things) devices because it’s very inexpensive, requires less power than 5GHz, and has a longer range. I definitely hope Wyze Cam v3 supports 5GHz for better connectivity in WiFi-dense areas.
You shouldn’t have to disconnect from 5GHz and join the same 2.4GHz network as the camera unless those are two separate, unbridged networks. If that’s not intentional you could check your router settings and see if “AP Isolation” mode or “Guest network” is active, preventing wireless devices from communicating with each other.
Shouldn’t being the operative word there :).
Without details I can’t guess what kind of connectivity issues are solved by connecting the phone to 2.4GHz, but many people have had unreliable connections on both WiFi and cellular that may be related to how the Wyze Cam tries to initiate a UDP stream directly to the phone’s IP.
Love the idea of an outside cam. Would like to be able to clear ALL notifications on any given cam in one action. Also, ability to upload a clip to Message/Messenger/email/etc
On the playback screen (watching recordings saved on sd card) would love the ability to (a) fast forward x2 or x4 speed and (b) have it automatically “skip” to the next event instead of telling you “no video at selected time”. In some cases it’s very hard to get it to start at exactly the very beginning of a clip, but if you could select just before the clip and have it skip to the start of the next clip it would save a lot of aggravation.
In the future would it be possible to switch on & off the tilt and pan control? When I zoom in on the full screen live stream, it sometimes pans as well, so when I zoom back out I find that the camera has panned. Means I have to reset the shot. For such zooms, it would be a plus to be able to temporarily disable P/T.
I would like to see a thermometer so you could see the temperature of the room
Full landscape functionality in the iPad & iPhone (iOS) application would be great.
Would love to be able to change the alert sound to something unique
Right
Wish list
Need the ability to turn off the IR lights and yet keep night vision mode on, because the constant clicking is annoying.
Has anyone suggested adding playback ability to another account you share the cameras with aka “the wife”? I have the main account and share with her account but she can’t ciew playback unless she uses my phone or iPad.
I also suggest multiple times for the scheduled alerts, and an outdoor weather proof camera
I would like to set up custom rules for motion detection, something besides a square or rectangle.
I use an Android tablet on a stand. It is very annoying that whenever I launch the app I need to tilt my head. It is nice that when viewing video that it sometimes will auto switch to landscape mode, but why isn’t the app designed to have a landscape mode to begin with?
This is helpful to keep night mode on but IR off because we use the 940nm IR lights which are invisible (no red dots) for our kids room – no need to tape over the IR lights on the camera
It would be nice to have units that have these built in or user replaceable.
