I'm Done With Wyze Cameras!

2 years ago I had an armed home invasion robbery. It was really, really bad. Cops saved my life and more than did their job. Seattle prosecutors are misnamed as they don’t prosecute bad guys here, so several of them are back out on the streets. So I bought a ton of Wyze cameras because they were all I could afford at the time, having just been cleaned out by the bad guys. They’ve been problematic for several reasons (v2, cam pan v1). I need security cameras to work, not be offline or stop working or, in the case of the cam pans, suffer from epilepsy and decide to change their position without me asking them to or not having a fast forward feature makes it really hard to find the footage the cops need. Trying to get help from customer service has been trying, to say the least. I’m done. I will try another camera system as soon as I figure out which way to go with that. I had great hopes for Wyze, but it’s all become just a big pain in the ass, so count me out. Hope I can sell these on Craigslist to try and get some of my money back.

Interesting we currently manage over 47 cameras at 6 sites and we have no issues at all in over 2.5 years
