My use case is to view succession of the subject but have only one poe point to connect. Looking for help with product match.
Wyze doesn’t make POE cams, nor do they make cameras with even Ethernet connectivity.
Only WiFi
Wyze cams are severely hobbled without a subscription too boot.
OK - so they can be hard wired for power but all operate on WiFi. Is there a max amount of cameras that can be connected to their client?
Correct the Wired cams wires are power only
On a Cam plus subscription you can run up to 99 cams
Without subscription I believe you can run as many cams as you like with the non-subscription limitations.
With a µSD installed, you can record continuously in every camera without restriction and without a subscription.
How many can connect to your WiFi depends on your WiFi and router.
As @bryonhu indicated, the cameras use Wi-Fi for their data connection; however, I believe @spamoni and other users have experience with providing power only (no data) via Ethernet using adapters, and you can search the Forum for examples and product recommendations if he doesn’t chime in.
