@spamoni need some clarification on your setup for POE. Can you tell me how you wired the Poe adapter and the switch?
Sure, but please note that the cameras still use Wireless as they don’t support hardwired Ethernet at this time. So I use my setup for Power only.
I have a switch which outputs enough power to control 8+ camera’s. I then run a home run from where I want the camera to be back to the switch and plug it it. On the camera side, I plug the adapter into the Ethernet cable and utilize the Micro USB to plug into the camera for power. On one of the Ethernet cables, I power 2 camera’s from it. when I go to three camera’s, I start having sporadic problems.

So the other Ethernet cable in the adapter goes to nothing? And do you just have your switch plugged into an outlet?
My Switch is a normal Switch with PoE ability. That is plugged into an outlet so it can function and send the power. Since the Devices are not Ethernet Capable, I did connect it into my primary switch. I only use it for Power.

I’m guessing that was just a link to show the model not necessarily the 5 pack. But keep in mind if you have no other use for a PoE switch (other devices like access points that will actually send data along with the power) you can just use cheap PoE injectors, there are single and multi port ones available, single port ones are under $10 and multi start in the $15 to $20 range.
You just need to confirm the type of PoE that the “receiver” is expecting and make sure the sender is compliant with it. But most just use the most basic passive PoE which is also the cheapest kind.
There is a Ubiquiti setup that can run 2 non-pan cams for around $25 to $30 (injector, receiver, and a USB splitter) but there are cheaper options too.
No one 8 port switch and each camera plugs into that.

Do you have any of the v4 cameras or the pan cam? Even the duo cam?
I have them all. However, I recently removed the Pan Cams as I did not need them hooked up at this time. I am using mostly the V4 Cams around my outside with 2 Battery Cam Pro’s and a Flood light pro. I also have a V3 Pro.

There are different wattages of PoE so you just have to make sure you match them up. The pan cams use 2A (10 watt) adapters so you’d only want one of those off a standard 15W PoE, but the non-Pan are 1A (5W) so could easily run 2 of them using a USB splitter.
Higher wattage PoE can obviously do more cams you just need to make sure both ends of the PoE support that wattage. With PoE, actually older CAT cable (even plain CAT5) is sometimes better, as some of the newer cables use thinner conductors and can have some voltage drop over long distances. But generally that’s only an issue with passive PoE and fairly long distances, since PoE runs at high voltage (48 usually) then steps it down to 5 at the USB converter.
