I’m not sure how to wire this since I discovered that in two instances one wire is used for two terminals (red for r and rc & yellow for w and y).
Can someone please advise if this setup is compatible and how this configuration translates to the wyze thermostat?

Hey @drewhgood
@speadie might know. Here’s a thread to peruse where he’s been active recently:
Looking for help wiring in my new thermostat to an old hvac unit with no circuit board.
I’ve got 4 wires at my current thermostat:
G, Y, W, R and 2 unused wires wrapped around the bundle Blue and Brown. I found these wires feeding to the unit, as pictured. How do I connect the adapter? If you need more pictures let me know. Thanks.

And how to access a single member’s content in a long thread via the profile:
Apologies if you’re already familiar with these techniques. Others who happen along may not be and it generally helps enrich the board.
It’s a heat pump with a non-heat pump thermostat/wiring harness.
Tell the wyze app you have the following wires:
Rc: Red
O: White
Y : Yellow
G: Green
You will need to install the C adapter, if you have issues, take a picture of the furnace side of the wires and I can walk you through it with a custom diagram.
