If you put your “Wesley” camera in a room called “Wesley’s Room” you should then be able to say “Google, show me the camera in Wesley’s Room” or I think even “Google, show me Wesley’s Room”. With commands using the room name, the name of the camera doesn’t seem to matter assuming there is only one camera in the room and it isn’t name exactly the same as the room.
My Google Assistant/Hub/Chromecast integration is working, but it take several seconds before any video pops up.
I am able to stream to my Google Hub but times out after 5 minutes. Anyone else with the same problem? Any solution? Thanks!
There is a 10 minute timeout as described in the following document. You should be getting at least that long with your stream, not just 5 minutes.
Maybe I was premature in my complaint about the duration. I just connected to a camera and right at 10 minutes was when the stream terminated. It is rather annoying, but is what is documented. Latency is still an issue and I have had issues connecting to cameras at time.
Personally I’d like to see the duration extended. If I’m monitoring an exterior camera I want to be able to do so without having to reissue the command all the time to put it on my Chromecast. I can make it happen by opening the app and casting my screen, but that is annoying for other reasons.

Is there any status on fixing the broken Google Home integration? As of several days ago my cams will no longer stream to Google smart displays / Chromecast. Several others on Reddit have posted the same.
Any news on this?

FWIW - I had this issue, but fixed it yesterday by deleting Wyze from Google Assistant and re-adding it. Now, it works.
Of course, it takes easily 30 to 40 seconds to show anything on my Home Hub or Chromecast. And occasionally there is a blank screen.

will we be able to view the live feed within the google home app, similar to nest cameras?
Wyze staff have said they are working on it, but it will require a significant retooling of the process (back to the drawing board to completely rework how the camera processes the video stream), so I wouldn’t expect anything firm for months…

Hi, not sure if this has been asked here already but will it be possible in the future for the contact sensors to be shown in the google home app? I’d love to be able to see and ask(as in talk to google) about the state of the contact sensors for example.

Please oh Please make it possible to send Shortcut commands to Wyze from Google Assistant. I feel that should had been even before the video capability!
