Fly out window to delete clips

I absolutely hate having to go to a pop out to delete every clip that I want to remove. This is definitely a step backwards and very aggravating as other people have posted I look at and clean up my videos many times a day. This greatly slows me down and causes unnecessary work

Talk about un-necessary work - why are you deleting event videos at all?

Agreed. I am for auto-deletion. (Sounds like Euthanasia but it is not.)

I manually delete clips when the camera goes crazy and records my AC unit fan spinning for hours. I have masked it off but still the camera gets fooled by trees waving and follows the shadows to the fan. .

I also delete videos of people working at job sites and keep just the relevant clips.

But why go through all that trouble when the clips will get deleted after two weeks automatically?

One might not need to delete clips when there are few of them. But when you’re seeing a lot and there’s no indication that you’ve viewed them before, it really gets confusing. Then you want to delete ones you’ve viewed, epecially if you have a backup SD recording.

The background color behind the clip changes once you viewed it to indicate you have seen it

That may be true now, but when I did delete clips before, it wasn’t like that.

Not criticizing, just curious, if that is the case so why don’t you just leave them to self delete?
