I have two Foodlight Pro cameras which I bought a while back and finally installed. Per the manual I’ve mounted them 10ft high.
Motion detection (all motion, not AI events) is really bad.
They either detect nothing, and don’t turn the floodlights on at all, or they become super sensitive and turn on by things like far away lights or house lights turning on in a window.
I’ve messed with the settings and reset the cameras but I feel like the hardware is just pretty useless.

I have similar issues with my two v3 floodlights. My dogs can walk past without turning the lights on but if a spider web is a few feet from the camera the light will trigger all night long.

The Floodlight Pro is the worst device I’ve purchased. The automations don’t work to turn the light back off, the sensing functionality is ridiculously horrible, and it doesn’t load video very well at all after this last update.
I have a similar problem. The camera doesn’t detect motion at night. I have two cameras in the back yard. One on the house and a second one on the shed in the back of the yard , approximately 70 ft apart . Both facing each other. As an example, numerous nights I had a deer about 10 ft away from the Flood Pro on the back of the house. The Cam V3 approximately 60ft away recorded the deer. The Flood Cam did not record any deer on numerous occasions.
