Has anyone installed the new firmware on the Wyze Pan V4, any problems, or is it safe to install?
You need to update the solar pan/tilt so it tracks animals. That’s what I bought it for and it won’t track my deer. It tracks me but not animals. Also pan/tilt finger control on full screen like your other pan/tilt. Very annoying having to switch back and forth screens to use the pan toggle to follow something.
I installed the firmware update on the Pan V4. Good news, it didn’t brick the camera.
Is there a way to force an update to the firmware? This version went to full release over 3 weeks ago on November 21st, but it is still not available for me to install.
The camera drift has made the camera effectively unusable and I am ready to demand a refund. I figure trying this firmware is the last opportunity to convince me to keep the cameras.

Hello Jason, do you know if this camera (CPv4) will be supported in TinyCam Pro app, I would like to upgrade but been hearing currently the latest update does not work with the app. I currently use the Cam Pan v3 and the Cam v4 in my office, which run permanently on my office wall monitor and they work wonderfully on the app. Thanks in advance

I have no idea, as that is a third-party software. That would be up to the developer if he wishes to support it or not.
