Faulty Keypad

My wyze keypad stopped working. I’ve tried changing batteries, I’ve tried resetting the keypad and the receiver, I’ve tried deleting it from my account and re-pairing it, and I’ve tried resetting my internet. Nothing has fixed it. At this point, I’m thinking its a faulty keypad. It stopped working a couple of months after we purchased it.
Has anyone dealt with this? Any recommendations?

I haven’t dealt with that specific issue, but when I’ve had products fail within the warranty period Wyze has been pretty easy to deal with for replacements, so I guess my first recommendation would be to contact Support (if you haven’t already done that) to open a ticket and get that ball rolling.

I don’t know if anything in the Home Monitoring Troubleshooting section of the Help Center will be of any benefit, because I think you’ve attempted reasonable steps already, but I expect Support will want you to do some of those same things anyway.

Mine just started failing too. I have done a power cycle by removing the batteries and it will work for a very short time. But then it seems to power off and won’t work until another power cycle.

So basically the keypad is useless as of this point.

Wyze staff, did a firmware update happen recently that may be causing this?

Scratch the power cycle being effective. That worked 3 times, but not it won’t power back on at all.

Please be aware that this is primarily a user-to-user support community and that, while some Wyze Team members occasionally engage, they don’t actively monitor every topic. Your best bet for directly reaching someone at Wyze is likely by contacting Support, as noted above.
