We bought this doorbell earlier this year, and it was working great. However, the image from the bottom camera is now very fuzzy. I tried wiping it off, and that did nothing. It looks like there is some condensation on the inside of the lens, so I’ve had it in a bag with silica packs for about 5 days, and that doesn’t seem to be helping. Has anyone else had a similar problem and been able to clear it up? If so, I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to fix it.
That sounds like moisture has gotten inside the sealed lower lens, so wiping the outside or leaving it with silica probably won’t clear the haze. I’d avoid heat or opening the housing, power the doorbell down if you can, and contact Wyze support with a photo since internal condensation usually needs a replacement rather than an app setting.
Thanks Jeremy. Yes, it looks to me too like there’s condensation inside. I will get in touch with Wyze support to get a replacement.
