Is there a way to program the default power up of the unit so that the outputs do not turn on when power applied to the input. If I have a power interruption or if I turn the power off and then plug the unit back on both outputs are powered up right away, which is bad because I have a sump pump on one which I do not want to run unless I tell it to any suggestions would be gladly appreciated.
Welcome to the Forum, @Ve6hc!
My experience with Plug Outdoor is that it “remembers” the state of each outlet when it loses power and maintains that state when it regains power. That was the behavior I saw when I just tested it by plugging my Plug Outdoor into a different smart plug so that I could easily cut and restore power to the Plug Outdoor.
I think maybe what you’re asking for is something like this: Even when my Plug Outdoor Socket 1 is ON, if I have a power interruption, then I want Socket 1 to be OFF when power is restored. Is that correct? If that’s the case, then I’m not aware of a way to accomplish this with the Plug alone.
