I have over a dozen V3 cameras. I use them with Amazon Alexa devices. Everything worked great until about 2 months ago when for no apparent reason, all person detected announcements started being double or triple announced for each wyze event recorded. I’ve tried everything, including multiple contacts to Wyze and Amazon tech support without any resolution. This is driving us nuts and is about to cause me to throw away all of the cameras and move on to other branded products. HELP!

It is a known bug that affects certain cameras and some users. I get the same on some of my V3s and it is very random. Not sure if and when it will get resolved. I learned to live with it

Would you prefer no notification at all? Wyze is known to do that as well. 
I have that issue as well with my Cam V4’s. But only one of them. Not sure why this happens.

Hasn’t worked in 6 months…
As of midnight February 4 2025. Person detection through the Alexa app via Wyze IS WORKING… So happy about this… All of a sudden at 1:20 am she announces a person at my front door. It was the snow removal crew for my condo complex salting down thd sidewalks.
Hmmm, my 12 cameras are ALL still double or triple announcing! I HATE it so much!!
