Doorbell ring not turning on light. Can this be done witout paying for any extra Wyze monthly sevice?
How are you trying to turn on the light? Are you using automations? Can you provide a screenshot of the automation and its actions?

Using Alexa routine. Workèd perfectly with pevious Remo doorbell. Also want doorbell cam to open on my phone.
Have you tried unlinking and relinking the wyze skill in Alexa? Are you able to tell if the doorbell ringing event is making it to Alexa? Are those Wyze bulbs or what brand bulbs are those that you’re trying to switch?

I wondered this, too, because if they’re Wyze Bulbs, then might as well just do the Automation in Wyze, right?

Using regular led bulbs using Gosund smart switch. Worked perfectly with previous Remobell.
How would I be able to "tell if the command is getting to “Alexa”?
So in the screenshot “Porch sides” refers to the smart switch? I’m trying to understand what I’m seeing.
For this, I’d think you could try to initiate the routine (press the doorbell button) and then in the Alexa app navigate to More ➜ Routines ➜ Activity and see if it triggered, but I’m fairly new to having this integrated with my Wyze ecosystem, so I’m interested in learning if there’s a different way.

Thanks for the quick responses! Alexa shows all the activity quite nicely:
-The porch side lites are going on correctly with the doorbell presses. That is a Kasa smart switch.
-The porch center is not. It is a Gosund.
Both switches worked quite reliably with my previous Remobell.

I interpret this as Wyze ⇄ Alexa ⇄ Kasa connection works. 
I interpret this as Alexa ⇄ Gosund connection isn’t working. 
Do any of your Alexa/Gosund routines work (if you have others)? Do you maybe need to re-link your Gosund account to Alexa? If a Wyze doorbell button press is making the Kasa switch turn on as intended, then I don’t think the Wyze integration is the problem.
