Doorbell does not allow me to talk through it

I have the doorbell V2 and it appears that I can’t talk to anybody through it. Is that correct?

That’s incorrect. How are you attempting to use 2-way audio? Are you using VoIP or the live stream screen? Do you have  Settings ➜ Advanced Settings ➜ Record Sound toggled ON? (I’m not sure if this last one is required for 2-way audio, but it can’t hurt.) Have you tapped to activate (un-mute) the microphone and/or speaker on the screen (they should be icon overlays on the bottom center of the live view pane) and given the app whatever permissions it might need for sound? (I don’t use iOS, so I’m not sure what’s involved with this.)

Also, adding a video-doorbell-v2 tag to your topic might help you get better visibility on your issues specific to this device.
