Does Wyze Cam V4 support 5G cellular network?

confusing perhaps for you.

Appreciated all sharing info. I’m not tech savvy but I could not follow given tehnical insights. I do only need to know either Yes or No about my question. Anyway, I found something interesting I bought a new non-Wyze camera - GAL***U and it works well, which means that I can view the live stream when i’m away home over 5G celluar data. So at this point I would use or view all my wyze cameras when I’m home only and use another cam brand when i’m away home. That concludes my topic.

This, what?

Your problem should not be a problem at all since webcams don’t usually have a simcard to directly connect to a cellular network (5g or any other). Cameras connect to your home WIFI and through your internet provider stream to any phone you login through the app. 5G cellular connection is completely irrelevant. THE ANSWER IS YES. WYZE cameras stream over internet to all types of networks 5G included. So either you have settings problems or hardware not installed properly. I suggest you review your wize cam app settings. Reinstall it or check its permissions on your phone.

In fact, you should be able to watch your Wyze cameras when you are away from your home and your phone is connected to a 5G cellular network. I’m able to do that.
Perhaps, if you want, you could open another thread here, or contact Wyze’s support, to try and solve that issue.

wel il have 2 camers both V4 and theyare coonnected to my TMOBILE 5G home internet andf when i am away from home i have no problem retrieving live feed off my TMOBILE 5G UTC mobile service.

thete may be sometimes when i am unable to see events when aeay but the minute i am back at home i can easily retrieve all

Probably because your TMobile 5G home internet gateway changes the cell signal to wifi and it does have a 2.4GHZ Wifi network.

That’s funny. Never heard it described like that. Glad my phone is on 5G.
