We have the Wyze camera model that can turn left right to monitor people. We had this deactivated as we can hear the motor and it does make our camera inconspicuous. Since an update about 3 weeks ago, it has turned on and I cannot figure out how to turn it off. We are aware of your new AI function but received a note that our trial had ended, which is good, but the camera still whirrs about. Advice?
If you wish to disable your cam from automatically turning left-right, you’ll need to turn off Motion Tracking and Pan Scan features:
Wyze app Home > tap the icon of your cam to bring up a Live stream/view > More (3 horizontal dots down on the right) > turn off Motion Tracking and Pan Scan. Icons are green when feature is enabled, gray when disabled.
After disabling Motion Tracking and Pan Scan, you should reset the cam-to-base position:
Wyze app Home > tap the icon of your cam to bring up a Live stream/view > Settings (gear icon upper right) > Advanced Settings > Motor Controls > Reset Position (tap the Reset button)
