Sorry if this has been covered. I did a search but could find anything.
Is there a way to blank out a portion of the field of view of the camera? For example, I want to blankout trees that set the camera off when the wind is blowing.
One feature of Arlo I really liked was you could setup recording zones within the field of view to minimize unwanted activity that would set the camera off. Is there a function like that in Wyze? If there’s not, there needs to be.
Thanks,
Kevin
There are detection zones which which can be altered in the setting menu. What camera are you trying to do this on? If you provide that info we can get specific instructions on how to set them up. Also you can search the Wyze support site and see many knowledge articles on how to use the camera and their features.

From the live view click the gear in the upper right, then detection settings, then detection zone. Enable it and shade out what you want excluded from detecting motion.

I had trouble finding the settings. I was able to find the area where you can tap on the pixels to adjust what is detected. Thanks for pointing me in the right direct! Much appreciated1

The best way I learned was to just go down the rabbit hole of clicking every menu and option I could and learning what it did.
Glad you figured it out!

I have to say, the adjustment of zones in this app is way better then Arlo. Arlo was just creating overlapping quadrilaterals.
