So, I have three more bulbs coming to swap out other bulbs so that all four lights are all color bulbs. I already have the one existing with a scene.
I will need to copy that exact scene color on the other three. But I’m not seeing an ability to copy it or heck to even edit an existing scene to even see a color code to jot down and manually type into another color bulbs device.
So how does one get all bulbs on the same color when the default colors provided are not ones that work for us?
Anyone know? Otherwise, WYZE Engineers, please add a feature to allow us to see color code settings and allow for manual keying in those codes so that all bulbs have the same color.
Couldn’t you just put all four Bulb Colors in the same group and control the light settings at the group level instead of the individual bulb level? That’s what I’d do.
I understand the question about copying settings from one individual bulb to another, and that’s an interesting idea. If I understand what you’re trying to do, though, then I’d just control all the bulbs in a single group.
Hey thanks…I didn’t think of doing it by group. Didn’t know you can control all light colors as one via the group. I’ll give it a shot…although, I think I got them pretty darn close. It took me a while to stare and bounce my eyes to each one though.
That sounds tedious, doing it on individual bulbs. The group thing should be way easier, and I hope that does what you want.
It’s what I tend to do when I have multiple Bulb Colors in a single fixture (like one lamp that has 5 of them and a ceiling luminaire that has 3 of them in it).
I created the group and tried it that way. Much easier. All mine are outside front lights. I already created an Easter group automation with some pastel colors and have it disabled for now and will enable it next week and disable my “normal” lighting.
