Color bulb floods broadcast

Been using this bulbs like forever, but ~6mo or so I started to notice humongous traffic coming off the switch like TBs of data

After traffic inspection it turns our 2 out of my 12 lamps almost simultaneously start sending DHCP disc packets.

DHCP packets are tiny. You would need TONS of them to get any substantial amount of traffic. To reach your 379 GB of traffic with the maximum possible DHCP size would take 315 million packets - or for a 24 period, comes out to 3655 packets per second. I don’t think so. There is something else going on,

This is exactly what’s going on. I gain 2Gb in a matter of a minute

I’m not buying that you are getting thousands of DHCP packets per second. Something else going on.
2GB per minute comes out to over 260 Megabits / second. A 2.4 GHz WiFi can not support that data rate (by a long shot). So even if the camera was TRYING to send that many packets, the WiFi could not come close to supporting it. Note, assuming one WiFi access port, the WiFi limit would apply to ALL devices connected to that WiFi - not just the one camera.
As I said, something else is going on.

Who said it’s 2.4 Wyze Cam, while it’s a 5 Ghz Lamp

Anyway, looks like an undiscovered bug that is unlikely to get fixed
