After their activation can the sensors be reused?

Yes. Just make sure the sensor is dry on interior and exterior.

Totally. The sensors are simply two metal contacts. When water is present, the contacts conduct between each other, and set off the alarm. When water is not present no conductivity occurs. Only difference is whether water is present, so they are infinitely reusable.
