The only trigger for non-continuous SD card recording is motion (not sound).

Correct, only Motion/Sound/Smoke/CO events will trigger a push notification. SD card motion detected does not generate a push notification (ever).

Mark Events In SD Card Playback

It is difficult to find events when using continuous recording. Playback is one of the least customer friendly portions of the app due to the difficulty in finding important footage and the difficulty in selecting the correct start time. Marking the events will let people scroll past footage that they may not care about quickly without having to check. Best, WyzeGwendolyn

Shortcut on the alerts playback screen for live view and recorded playback (if an SD card is present). It would be nice to be able to quickly go from viewing an alert notification to the live stream and/or full local recording. MOD NOTE: This feature has been added in the version 2.6.x app release.
