I still like being able to use my cameras without a subscription, though, and to be able to provide assistance from that perspective. I get what you’re saying. I’ve used a trial subscription, and it’s cool to see what features that can open up and how, for example, some settings options change.
I think a lot of users can really benefit from the additional features that come with subscriptions, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the top-tier subscription fits all use cases, so I think it’s important to be able to provide peer support to others who choose not to subscribe.
Having experienced what a subscription can offer, though, I definitely have a better appreciation for the work that @WyzeMatt and his team do in trying to encourage users to subscribe. When he touts a cool new feature, I can say, “Yeah, I get it.” ![]()
