I have a WYZE camera with up to date firmware and I set up without a problem but the camera is triggered by the movement it stops recording even before the person who triggered it is gone. For example, someone approaches my door the camera starts to record but stops almost immediately if the person just stands there. How can I force the camera to record for 1 or 2 minutes after it is triggered, regardless it the thing that triggered it stops moving. I’ve gone over all the settings. I found “time-lapse” but it just keeps getting reset to its default.
You know that unless you pay for Continuous Motion Capture it will only record for 12 seconds and then ban any recordings for 5 minutes, right? Unless you record to SD card …
I have CMC on all my cams and sometimes event recording will stop even before the motion stops. Only way I know of is to use continuous recording to your SD card. Then click playback when viewing an event to see what happens after.
Thanks. I’m going to try to increase the motion sensitivity, if that fails I will look into a better camera…
