Hello,
I have Cam Plus Lite on all of my camera’s Bought in 2022 or earlier.
Moving forward to 2023 camera purchases. Will Cam Plus Lite still be available for Free?
Particularly Person Detection?

Cam Plus is still available for free, but only for legacy cameras.

I am hearing from WYZE
“Cam Plus Lite is only available on WYZE Cams released before April 2022”
If the above statement is true, It will definitely affect my new WYZE camera purchase decision.

On more modern cameras, you can use a SD card to get full-length videos of your Events. Just press the ‘Playback’ button on the cloud event with the photograph, and it will access the video on the SD card. You can do that from anywhere in the world.

Person Detection will still be available on any cameras that have it built into their firmware, like the V3 Pro. Hopefully they will add to that list.

So if I were to purchase a legacy camera i.e. WYZE Cam Pan V2 would still have the Cam Plus Lite(free) option?

Cam Pan v2 is listed as compatible with Cam Plus Lite. Check out this link. There is a good Cam Plus Lite FAQ section near the bottom.
