My Battery Camera Pro just stopped working, changing the battery did not fix the issue.
I am not getting any status lights, Holding down the setup button does nothing. My guess is it is dead, any suggestions?
Charge the battery? You didn’t mention that.
I put in a new battery, that I know was good
B4 you give up. One of mine died the other day. It was 99 degrees outside, direct sunlight, etc.
Like you I swapped batteries, tried reseting, factory reset etc. Its a couple of years old. Figured the heat got to it.
Set it aside. Next day on a whim I plugged it in and voila, it fired up. Good as new (I hope).
Wyze has an aggressive thermal protection system. It may have kicked in early (unit is rated at 122° F). I’m OK with that as long as I don’t see any long term issue. I’d rather it trigger early than later.
Hope yours recovers. It’s my favorite camera.
Has been sitting in. my nice cool house for 3 days now, still won’t respond to anything.
