I like the 12 s clip. It alerts me ( its purpose) to go to the SD recording to get the full recording. I thought this was going to be another whiny post but it certainly was not. Your are absolutely 100% right on the money when you say this isn’t something that should have taken a year to fix.

For those that just need a notification, the 12 second clip isn’t necessary, just a motion based notification.
