I have created a automation rule so when my wyze cam detects motion, my wyze plug turns off and on. However, when I go to disable it, it shows disabled but the rule is still active and working. I have deleted the rule, factory reset and renamed my camera and plug, reinstalled the app but nothing seems to be stopping the automation from taking place. Anyone have a fix for this?
I have since then swapped cameras with another user, they use a different account but when that camera detects motion, my wyze plug still goes through the automation. How is this even possible? The camera is not even connected to my account anymore
I have the same problem. Rule applied to a WCO cam where motion turns a Wyze Plug on. I’ve deleted the rule, reset the cam, base and plug… nothing eliminates the rule as the rule is stuck on the Wyze server and tied to the cam and plug. I don’t have a solution for you… just letting you know that you’re not alone.
