In the words of Lord Vader: Impressive, Most impressive!

Not something we get to see in southern California.

I hate this post only for the simple fact that I didn’t catch it! I had my camera out and I attempted a time lapse when the CME was entering our atmosphere but it was very cloudy and I didn’t capture anything

Absolutely great work! That is utterly spectacular. It looks like you had the best conditions to capture it in. Definitely keep up the great work!

You know, I just set it up for time lapse every night, from dusk to dawn. Most mornings I review the footage and discard, but every once in a while I get something worth keeping. I am not even looking to see when the CME is expected. The predictions don’t often line up with what we see. Last night was overcast when I set it up, but I set it up anyway. Keep trying. It doesn’t take long to set up.
