Hi, first time posting. I’m trying to set-up new Cam v4 cameras and investing ways to power camera without running a hardwire. One option I thought of is connecting to a solar panel; will Cam v4 able to use solar panel to power unit?

Not directly. You will need a battery to store power and solar controller with built in 5V USB port or 12V to 5V converter to power the camera.
