Event filtering is broken in the current Android app; 2 phones, same account, same filters, different results. Is this one of the bugs fixed in this version?
How is it broken? I have installed it on 2 Android Phones and my Event Filtering is working.
Can you provide what steps you are taking to create the issue? I would like to try to reproduce as well.
I am using a Pixel 9 Pro and Samsung S24+ with the latest OS and updates on both.
I tried it again today, and it was even worse, but after going through several cycles of clearing/setting camera filters, the problem disappeared!
Basically, I have 2 phones showing exactly the same display; which is the most recent events for the day; with smart objects selected and the “Motion” selector unchecked. One of the phones wasn’t showing the “Vehicle” events for one (and only that one) camera. The only way to make them appear in the list, is to select the “Motion” button. That was yesterday.
Today, before the issue went away, that phone wouldn’t show a single vehicle or person event when the “Motion” button wasn’t pressed. That phone is actually the newer one, running Android 14.
What type of phones are you using?
The newer phone is a Samsung S22 Ultra. The older phone is a Samsung Note8.
Are you only having the issues with Vehicle not showing?
Each day I filter for Pet and Person without issues.
Just vehicle and person events, and just that one camera, which is actually a floodlight V2.
I only tested for 2 consecutive days. Today was the third day.

Have you contacted Wyze and obtained a ticket number? Did you create a Log of the issue? If so, can you post it here and I will see if I can get some eyes on this
No, I didn’t. I think there are a lot more serious bugs that should take priority.

Why can’t you fix the cameras stuck on loading 1/3 until I force the app to stop and restart it? It is really annoying.
