I really love Wyze products…I am in the process and will soon have all my smart home products under the Wyze umbrella…“One App to Rule Them All” has always been my goal.
In the process of making this dream happen I forgot that my dining room lights and kitchen island lights are the gu10 base bulbs and Edison style bulbs. Would be nice if Wyze would make some different style bulbs. I currently have Geeni bulbs in those fixtures. They would be the last remaining “unWyze” smart products in my home.
Many of the indoor overhead fixtures in our house require candelabra lights, especially fans. We would love to swap these out for smart LED bulbs. Please consider making a smaller version of the small bulb to fit is smaller installation spaces and bases. Also add a remote control for all bulbs for use by our guests in the bedrooms.

Canless Recessed Down lights are becoming more popular in construction. They are easy to install with a junction box that connects to existing light wiring, or new wiring.
I am currently remodeling and bought one from the brand Halo at Home Depot (model HLBPH6099FS1EMWR). I see Philips (model 562314) and Lumary (US-SD6A-4) also have them with the ability to do RGBA. I almost bought some but I don’t want to install another smart app. I would love it if Wyze made Pot Lights.
Recessed puck lights are a much needed addition to the platform. Wyze is the only smart ecosystem that doesn’t have them. When a new homeowner looks into smart home products a full solution is the key. Feit electric has an amazing product, contact them and rebrand with your app API.
Flush Mount ceiling lights that fit over 3.5”-4” J-box to mount
Have a brand new home that has these boring Kichler flush mount LED lights in the ceiling (25+ lights). Most replacement lights don’t work because they utilize the little clamp arms to grip the drywall. Govee is a good example. These don’t work for me because I have junction boxes (j-boxes).
The only brand I found that works is Lumary, but they have a painful to use app and I’m not sold on the quality. Their basic design works though.
Light comes in 2 pieces. The lens and then the base. Base is the mount (2 screws that hold it to the j-box) and contains all the electronics. Then the lens is inserted and turned to lock into place. The design isn’t anything special, It’s just a matter of fitting everything in.
I think this is the direction new home builders are going. Big can recessed lights are dead, no one wants that. Utilizing the junction box is quick and easy. This saves you guys from having to provide a junction box like many others do. I have 8 of the Lumary lights but I’d gladly retrofit most of my house if Wyze had such a design. I definitely don’t want you guys to just copy, but the basic mounting is the future. Add in a ring along the ceiling that provides a night light setting and then in the center have the remaining RGBW LEDs for full customization. It’s a win.
Would be nice to have recessed can lights. Replacements for the old-style can lights that work with the Wyze system

What bulb size are you looking for? There are several size can lights with different bulbs. Wyze already makes a BR30, which I have. They work nice but most of my ‘can’ lights are on dimmer switchs. I need to swap out the dimmer switches for Wyze switches.
The standard replacement LED can lights that you buy at Lowe’s or Home Depot are anywhere from like 3 inches wide to 7 inches wide it’s more like a big hockey puck that replaces the great big receptacle that was in there for incandescent lights. Very common now just I wanted some from wyze that change colors and not have to get them from another company
Definitely outdoor rated high hats( recessed lights).
Preferably rgb, linkable, and music following. I do not want to buy any Hues outdoor equipment. The day wyze makes this is the day I throw away my christmas lights.
I’d love to see Edison bulbs! I mean I would think it wouldn’t take much from what you already have to produce an Edison bulb. I’m seriously starting to think about changing out my Wyze system and services for someone who actually invested in coming out with new items not just reformatting their cameras into the same ole save ole… how about expand some of your other items like your lightbulbs or come out with smart can lights or something new like a new floor lamp
