You guys should make a Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm Listener.
Seems like a simple design and a good profit margin to your similar smart device connectable products.
Something like ring does but without having to have a subscription.

The Wyze Camera’s has that. If you start a Live Stream and then go to settings, Tap on Alarm Settings. From there you can turn on Smoke and CO Alarm notifications

From a probability standpoint for Wyze it’s still a good easy product to produce though and would integrate easily with your existing app infrastructure. For people that don’t want a camera in their house as well they’d still have an option for wireless smoke and co alerts.
