Hi, I’ve been using the Wyze Dual Doorbell for a bit, and in the Wyze app, there’s no separate setting for AI detection on the top and bottom cameras.
Just wondering — do both cameras use the same AI processing, or is it applied only to one of them?
Asking this since I feel like the AI detection (person/package) might behave slightly differently between the top and bottom cameras.
I have a duo doorbell, and when I first installed it, there was a wreath covering the top camera. It still reported events recorded by the lower camera. Recently, the wreath was removed, and the top camera also started flagging vehicle events not visible from the lower camera.

I also found out from online that the top/ bottom cameras seem to serve different purposes. Do they actually have any difference in the AI performance or detection capability?
I haven’t tested that part. My main interest in the duo is that I have it mounted at the door peephole level, and a normal doorbell camera won’t be able to show packages left at the very bottom of the door.
