I canāt speak directly to Adobe Suite and its professional-level features, but I understand their dominance in that field. Thatās certainly what one of my designer friends has used (on Mac) for as long as Iāve known him. For the tinkering I do, Inkscape, GIMP, and LibreOffice Draw suffice.
Depends on your needs and if you must run on Apple hardware, I thinkā¦at least in part. For the types of stuff that I do, Linux covers it pretty well.
I donāt see those, so Iām not quite sure what you mean. Iām just using accounts local to whatever machine Iām logging into. Maybe something youāre doing on the machine is triggering notifications?

No, the last Windows 11 machine I set up was with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, so itās 24H2. My understanding of setting up Windows with a local account (instead of a Microsoft account) is that the first account created is always an Administrator, so I create a second account as a Standard User and use that account unless I need privilege escalation for some reason. I donāt know if something like that would have anything to do with your experience or not. The Windows machine that I remote into still runs Windows 10 Pro (22H2) because I havenāt yet gotten around to doing something about that.
A MacBook Pro is my daily driver when I need a computer to get something done. Windows, I cringe when I have to boot it up. Linux I get happy because I get to use the terminal.
Yes, I know I can use the command line in Windows and Mac.
Mac, I donāt feel the need to use the command line and Windows, well I am still cringing.
In rare occasions I need to use the command line for things that you can no longer do. For example scheduling the Mac to boot and shut down at certain times or setting Tailscale to do things that are impossible in GUI.
If you are interested in Audio, Video, Photography or Graphics, check out Ubuntu Studio. Yes, many of these programs you can download into other distros, but Ubuntu Studio looks like an interesting distro.
