4G LTE Security Camera Research Survey

Hello!

My name is Hongfei, and I’m a Product Manager at Wyze. We’re exploring the idea of building a 4G LTE cellular security camera for places without reliable Wi-Fi. I have a few questions and would really appreciate your feedback.

Link to the survey: https://forms.office.com/r/0zfpLqX2mJ

The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete, and your responses will remain completely confidential.

Thank you for your support, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts through the survey!

There’s a problem with the form: Part 2, item 7 says “select up to 3” but uses radio buttons instead of checkboxes, so only a single selection is possible as a response.

Thanks! Fixing it now

I put my three responses in the “other” answer when I completed the survey before, because I could select only one.

I see that it’s been fixed now. Thanks! :+1:

Location Rural Texas, lots of areas with no WiFi.

Locations can be 300 ft or more from house and can be half mile to several miles away,

But has cell service.

Ie Rural Ranch Gate Entrance.

Barn / equipment storage area.

Workshop, etc.

Biggest issue would be the cost to add cameras to a cell service provider.

My area AT&T has the best coverage.

Just filled the form. Excited to hear any development you might have come across.

I’d buy two today if they were available.

I just filled out the survey and I’ve been wanting something like this to be a part of the Wyze family for a while! I want to be able to control my reserve parking spot which is a small distance away from my condo, but too far for any Wi-Fi or wiring connectivity. It definitely has to work off of battery power and solar, so being able to monitor my reserved parking space with a camera just above that space would be perfect! What makes it more perfect is being able to have all of my Wyze Cameras including a 4G LTE one on the same app! You guys have got to make this happen! So many people could benefit from this and they don’t even know it

@WyzeHongfei an option for a hub to boost the signal could be a good idea as for the gardepro camera.
