Wyze video captures of our driveway deer

It is all private property. The smallest pieces are 80 acres. A young couple “hunts” in their front yard. Their 9 year old daughter got not one, but two, her first time out; a doe and an 8 point buck. I gave her a box of .243 for Christmas! (They eat it all the venison.)

No one else hunts, so there is well over an entire section of land that is safe for the deer and bears. Plus, the land borders a large state park, as well.

My wife and I just came in from a standalone patio I built last summer about 60 feet in front of the house. As we sat out there, we watched one of the herds came down our long drive. There are 12 in it, including three 8 point and one 10 point buck.

They sauntered past and up onto the concrete for a little snack. They kindly ambled back into the forest to let us get back into the house.

Neato.

I would love to have 80 acres of undeveloped land. I tried to purchase the empty .38 acre lot behind my house, the original owner a very nice elderly gentleman used it for a very large garden with a few fruit trees. When he passed away his children sold the house on the front lot but not the garden area. They finally decided to sell it, they said I could have it for $400,000. :astonished:
After many years they got $125,000 from a developer and now there is a 2,400 sq/ft house on it. :sob:

Aww.
