One of the two thermostats is doing the same thing! Both are set up the same.
I am now having one of my two thermostats showing a 3 ° temperature difference. They had both been running pretty well since the initial setup but now this issue.
I have 2 thermostats 1 works fine but the other changes temps and state by itself. Frustrating!!! Have reset it several times but results are the same…needs to be replaced!
There is a default schedule. Either add your own schedule or remove the default schedule.
So I have been having this same issue since buying my two thermostats.
I have tried everything listed here with no solution.
Before this problem I had one thermostat that was labeled wrong (wiring) from the factory and I spent wayyyy too long trying to figure it out before they sent a replacement. It was even triggering wrong things within my HVAC System to where I hired an HVAC guy out and he traced the problem to the Wyze thermostat. Replaced it and it works but change’s temperature (and settings sometimes) on it own.
My other unit that I have upstairs I had to have Wyze replace because it was stuck on Celsius with no way of changing. The replacement unit does what the downstairs thermostat does, CHANGES TEMP AND SETTINGS!!!
I feel that these were released before they were ready, but don’t you think they could fix it with a software update??
