Transmission frequencies upon which device WiFi signals are carried. 2.4 GHz, 5GHz are still most used but x and y are succeeding bands gaining popularity as people upgrade WiFi routers to new tech.
Most IoT stuff (like cams) currently operates on the 2.4GHz band.
