It would be nice if AC powered cameras would alert if they had a power interruption and record an event for such, or they go offline.
In the app you can enable camera status notifications and it will tell you if the cam is offline, it comes out after about 20 to 30 minutes.
It can’t record an event because it has no power. However some have used battery banks with pass through charging to act as a backup power supply for the camera when the power goes out.
